  • KDE 4.01 for Windows: still not totally stable, but Kate works like a charm, as well as Umbrello and Dolphin.
  • RSSRadio: a very nice program to listen/manage/download podcasts.
  • VirtuaWin: virtual desktops on Windows. Not perfect but by far better then the dedicated Microsoft Powertoy.
  • Miranda: a very complete, Windows only, multi-protocol IM client.
  • Stickies: a very nice and complete Post-it like program.
